Conical dispensing tips made of polypropylene are particularly suitable for medium and high viscosity, i.e. tough materials. The plastic needle is often used to avoid scratches when dispensing onto sensitive surfaces.
Conical needles are also popular when using anaerobic adhesives that harden on contact with metal (copper ions) - such as liquid screw locking agents.
