Description:

The 2K mixing and dosing equipment was developed to process average quantities of 2K material. The two components are conveyed by piston pumps that are powered by two pneumatic cylinders. The equipment comes standard with containers of 2 x 11 litres and can also optionally be combined with 35 litre containers. The containers are air-tight and are not under pressure. Thus, they can be opened at any time during operation.
Mode of operation: The mixing equipment works using the piston principle. The pistons are set up for resin and curing agent corresponding to the mixture ratio (MV). The MV is set for a specific material.
Advantage: The operator cannot adjust the mixture ratio!
Naturally, the MV can subsequently be changed by exchanging the curing agent piston at any time. The two material pistons are connected to each other via a piston plate. The piston plate is pneumatically powered via compressed air cylinders. If the piston plate moves upward, the two pistons extend out of the material cylinders. Material is sucked into the cylinder. If the piston plate now moves downwards, the two material pistons dip into the seals in parallel and convey the material separately to the outlet valve via non-return valves. The material doesn't get together until the very front of the outlet and flows through the static mixing tube. Two operation types can be selected on the control:
